Use Flux to Adjust Monitor Color & Brightness with respect to Time of The Day

Use

Use Flux to Adjust Monitor Color & Brightness with respect to Time of The Day-: After long use of computer screen we all feel the strain in our eye especially in the night, During the day, computer screens look good—they’re designed to look like the sun. But, at 9 PM, 10 PM, or 3 AM, you probably shouldn’t be looking at the sun.

I am a very heavy computer user so I use special glass to protect my eyes from the harmful rays of the computer screen. I use special glass from Zebriana and that was a good decision..Zebrina is the only manufacturer of such type of computer glass in India. If you lives in India you can buy one from Zebriana , They really provide very good glasses at an affordable cost.

One day while searching over internet i came to know about https://justgetflux.com/ which do a similar job like my Zebriana computer glasses. Now i Office i use Zebriana Glasses and at Home f.lux.

What Flux does

f.lux  makes the colour of your computer’s display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day. It’s even possible that you’re staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.

What f.lux does-:

The light that comes from computer and mobile phone screens has a real effect on the human circadian system, especially at night. Based on your wake time and location, f.lux creates a custom lighting schedule for you that changes every day throughout the year. By moving the sliders, you can fine tune the colours to fit your needs.

f.lux makes your computer screen look like the room you’re in, all the time. When the sun sets, it makes your computer look like your indoor lights. In the morning, it makes things look like sunlight again.

Tell f.lux what kind of lighting you have, and where you live. Then forget about it. f.lux will do the rest, automatically.

How f.lux affects your computer screen-:

You can check with yourself how f.lux affects computer screen with respect to age, distance from screen and color…you can try with yourself on the rainbow page of F.lux. https://fluxometer.com/rainbow/

More about f.lux-:

Computer screens, tablets and mobile phones emit full spectrum light around the clock, just like the sun. Exposure to blue light at the wrong time of day can keep you awake later and interfere with the quality of your sleep. f.lux tries to help this by removing blue and green light to help you wind down in the evenings.

It can take a few days to get used to the new colors at night, so f.lux recommend setting the night-time colors in f.lux to whatever feels good to your eyes. After a few days with f.lux, experiment with the settings to warm things up a little more and find which color works best for you. the f.lux default setting of 3400K on Windows removes about 3/4 of the blue and about half of the green light.

Conclusion-: f.lux is a very useful software to protect eyes from harmful computer screen rays..best part of flux is you have no need to adjust color according to time…it automatically adjust the screen color with respect to time zone provided by the user…At the starting stage it will be difficult to adjust with f.lux but later on, you will love using flux.
