Not sure if everyone has noticed but Document Salience is a great way to make strides on ranking higher and increasing the position of your page for a keyword
But…how exactly does Google calculate salience? Well, there’s probably many factors but one of the largest computational metrics seems to be.

Understanding the Object versus the Subject of your content on a section by section basis of the page or document.

So How Does This Work?

Focus and Attention: When the keyword is the subject, it takes the leading role in the sentence. This placement naturally draws the reader’s attention to the keyword first, emphasizing its importance.
Clarity and Directness: Sentences structured with the keyword as the subject are often more direct and straightforward. This clarity makes it easier for readers to grasp the main message quickly and clearly.

Engagement: By making the keyword the subject, you’re likely to engage the reader with what you deem most important right away. This can be particularly effective in hooks, titles, headings, or any opening lines where capturing the reader’s interest quickly is crucial.
Memorability: Sentences that feature the keyword prominently as the subject tend to be more memorable. This can be especially important in marketing, branding, or any field where recall is valuable.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization): In digital content, placing the keyword as the subject can also help with SEO, as search engines often prioritize content that clearly addresses the user’s query right from the beginning of sentences and paragraphs.
